I have a plan to paint some pretty rocks and write the names of the things I plant in my greenhouse and around the garden on them so when I had a few minutes earlier in the week, I thought I’d have a little look through Pinterest to find out the best way to go about it. There were so many rock painting ideas on there that I wanted to share that I thought I’d do a bit of a round up of them for you all.
I just wish the kids were a bit younger as we could have had hours of rock painting fun if I’d realised it was a thing before now – the closest we ever came to rock painting was when they were both in junior school and we all had a sickness bug just before Fathers Day. All we could muster up for a present for Mr Frugal was a rock from the garden with the words ‘Dad Rocks’ written on it with a Sharpie. 😉
I have a pile of rocks collected from the beach over the last few weeks that seem like they would be good rock painting rocks – some of them have been earmarked for my plant labelling little project but the others are ones that I’m going to get a bit creative with. I love the Rock Snake and feel like it might be quite cute winding its way around the plant pots in my greenhouse as well as being one of the easiest to make.
