Even though Miss Frugal is still undecided about whether or not she actually believes in Santa, we’ve been writing our annual letters to Santa this afternoon. Actually, for someone who might not be a believer, she’s asked for enough things – an Ipod touch, a buggy, a till and Hello Kitty ‘stuff’, whatever that may be! That’s Santa in his sleigh in case you weren’t sure….
I love Master Frugal’s, he’s asked for a Nintendo 3DS and a camera so nothing too expensive there then 😉
We use the Royal Mail Santa Service to send our letters to Santa – As long as your child’s letter states their name and address (hence me chopping the top of the photos of ours) and you remember to attach a stamp to your letter then Santa and his elves will try and reply back to you.
You need to send your letter to this address by 14 December:
Transalated to Santa/Father Christmas, Santa’s Grotto, Reindeerland, SAN TA1
There are other ways to contact Santa as well….
* You could make your own letter from Santa using a site like Free Letters From Santa. The site lets you choose from different Christmassy backgrounds and allows you to personalise a letter from Santa to your child. You can either leave it somewhere for your child or pop it in an envelope addressed to them and post it.
*The NSPCC are also running their annual letters from Santa scheme where you can order a beautiful personalised letter for your child for a recommended donation of £5.00 per letter.
You can even e mail Santa or follow his live child friendly tweet stream – the tweet stream isn’t on Twitter and is more like a stream of messages between Santa, Mrs Claus and the elves so it’s perfectly safe to let the children read it.
Have I missed something? How do you contact Santa?

In asking my boss for a letter of recommendation, I found that many people don't know how to write them or what goes into a recommendation letter.

Hi, we've used http://www.portablenorthpole.tv for the past few years. You fill in some details and you get a personalised video email from Santa and the best thing is he looks realistic. Absolutely magical.

No problem at all – I'll have a look at the meme 😉 I'm really bad at things like that and always forget until about six weeks later lol so you might need to give me a prod x x
