Seeing as it’s half term for us here in the UK I thought you might like a quick and easy recipe to get the kids in the kitchen today. This recipe for my easy 3 ingredient no cook chocolate crunch cakes will not only keep them occupied for a while as they make them, you also get the added advantage of the end result being that you get to eat some amazingly tasty little cakes. Win, win.
I don’t think I’ve ever has such a simple recipe turn out so well and over the years that we’ve been making them we’ve tried lots of different combinations using digestives instead of rich tea biscuits and adding the odd extra ingredient to them and if I remember rightly, we’ve even dipped them in finely chopped nuts of some kind to make a little crispy shell.
You literally can’t go wrong which is why we love them so much. 😉
Easy 3 ingredient no cook chocolate crunch cakes
75g rich tea biscuits
225g chocolate
4 tablespoons golden syrup
- Melt the chocolate.
- Quickly stir the golden syrup into the chocolate and then add the biscuits.
- Mix everything together thoroughly.
- Use your hands to make little balls out of the mixture.
- Put each ball into a cake case… (We used the little ones) and then dust with icing sugar or cocoa.
See, I told you it as easy didn’t I?
