It’s very rare that I write a review of something I bought myself but every now and again, I buy something that I love that much that I want to share with you.
Today I want to tell you all about my Breville Blend Active blender which I bought from Tesco from £24 about two months ago. You can buy it all over though and there seem to be different model numbers available but as far as I can see the different model numbers refer more to the number of bottles you get with the blender rather than anything different with the blender itself.
I wanted a new smoothie maker as the one I had was quite bulky and took up too much space on the counter so I ended up putting it away in the cupboard. Because it wasn’t on display, I either forgot about it or could never be bothered to get it out. I liked the look of this one because it’s really compact and tucks into the corner of the counter. The wire stores neatly underneath it when I’m not using it which I love too.
Mine came with two bottles which is perfect for the kids although I could do with spare to be honest so I’m going to look into buying some more.
It’s so easy to use, you just put your ingredients straight into the bottles and attach the blade cap. Then you just need to pop the bottle on to the base of the blender, twist it to lock and press the blend button. It takes seconds to blend and when you’re happy with it you just replace the blade cap with the leak-proof lid and you’re good to go.
We’ve used ours so much and I’m so impressed at the way it makes short work of everything we throw at it – including ice!
It’s revolutionised breakfast time here too – my two used to have to be practically force fed breakfast but now they love smoothies and I love it because I know they’re getting plenty of fruit inside them!
I genuinely have nothing bad to say about this which is why I wanted to share it with you.
Has anyone else got one of these?
