A few months ago Miss Frugal and I were planning to make some wall art for her new improved bedroom and we were searching Pinterest for a quote that she wanted to use for it. She kept going back to the same one but I was enjoying myself that much looking at quotes that I made her keep looking in case she found another one she liked just as much.
We found lots that she loved but none that she connected with in the way she had with the quote she had chosen. I asked her why she liked the quote she’d chosen so much and she said it was because it encouraged her to try new things. We stopped looking right there because if she’s found a way to motivate herself then I’m going to go with it.
This is the finished piece of wall art:
Then I started to think about other phrases and quotes that we use to inspire our children. My personal favourite is this one:
From personal experience I know that life really can be too short and you need to make the most of every moment. I must say this at least once a day out loud as well as saying it in my head numerous other times. It really helps with Miss Frugal if she’s having some sort of teen drama – I tell her that life’s too short to worry about whether her hair is curly or straight or the fact that she can’t find her favourite lip gloss. 😉
Miss Frugal also has a locket that we got her just before she started senior school and that has ‘Be brave every day’ engraved on it and when she has a challenge ahead, like a hard test at school then she’ll sneak it on under her school uniform.
Here’s a few of my favourite quotes that can be used to motivate and teach children:

Una parte impresionante! Acabo remitido esta a un compañero de trabajo que había estado haciendo una pequeña investigación sobre este tema. Y de hecho me ordenó la cena debido al hecho de que he encontrado para él … lol. Así que permítanme volver a redactar este …. Gracias por la comida !! Pero sí, gracias por pasar el tiempo para discutir este asunto aquí en su sitio web.

I loved reading these quotes. There are times, when reading some Inspirational Lines helps boosting self confidence, and fight against all odd situations with greater efficiency.

These are very inspiring. I would like to add one more that gives me boost everytime when i face some failure and that is "if you want something bad, work for it."

Love these, it's true that something as simple as a quote can really inspire you. I especially like the best view comes after the hardest climb which reminded me of climbing the Eagles Nest last year. Worst hike to the top ever, but boy the view at the top! 😀

What a lovely project to do with your children – I am a firm believer in using positive words to create the best outcomes and by encouraging this within your daughter you are helping her to strengthen her inner steel, making her ultimately more resilient.
I've never heard 'The best view comes from the hardest climb' before but it is so true and a great inspirational quote.
