My 3 ingredient DIY Face Oil is perfect if you’re looking for some help in the anti-ageing department without shelling out a fortune on premium beauty brands.
As always, please read my post on how to use essential oils responsibly before using any product that includes an essential oil as an ingredient.
How to make your own anti ageing DIY face oil
The quantities of the following ingredients are going to be determined by the size of your bottle so the measurements are a bit vaguer than usual.
Argan oil – just over half of your bottle’s capacity
Rosehip oil – around a quarter of your bottle’s capacity
Lavender or Rose oil – I add about 10 drops in my bottle but it’s entirely up to you how you like yours. I’d start with 10 and maybe add in more if you feel like you’d like a stronger scent.
To make your DIY face oil, you literally just add the ingredients to your bottle and shake! It couldn’t be simpler, could it?
I just use a cotton pad to apply (avoiding the eye area) and gently wipe a thin layer over my skin before I go to bed on a night. It’s doing wonders for a pesky dry patch of skin that I have just at the side of my nose and although I’m not naive enough to think that it’s a blend that will rival the Elizabeth Arden’s of the world, I do think it’s a very good alternative if you want a face oil on a budget.
