If money’s especially tight at the moment with the rising cost of living then this post might be just what you’re looking for to help you out – 5 Quick and Simple ways to earn money online.
None of these ideas are going to make you rich but they will all help you if you’re wanting to try and earn money online!
I’d definitely recommend setting up a separate account to transfer all your earnings into – I have an account for my Christmas savings which I add to throughout the year. By the time I get to Christmas shopping I have a decent amount built up that really does pay for a good chunk of my shopping!
5 Quick and Simple ways to earn money online.
1. Swagbucks
OK, I know you’re sick of me telling you about Swagbucks but honestly, it’s helped me out massively over the last few years when I’ve come to do my Christmas shopping as I’ve saved my Swagbucks until November and then cashed them in for Amazon vouchers. You can also cash them in for Paypal vouchers which you can then transfer to your bank account but you do need a few more Swagbucks to get the same value in Paypal vouchers as you do for Amazon vouchers.
I’ve written a whole post about Swagbucks which includes nine different ways you can earn on there so it’s worth checking out if you want to start earning money online over there.
2. Oh My Dosh
Oh My Dosh is another one that I’ve shared a few times with you as it has the potential to earn you some extra money and this one is literally cash back into your bank account. Oh My Dosh has the added bonus of featuring Lightning Payouts where you can genuinely earn £10 in 30 minutes and have the payout 3 days later. You can find out more about Oh My Dosh here as I’ve written a detailed review of it and included some ideas on how to start earning quickly.

3. Online Surveys
There are stacks of companies you can sign up to and get paid for completing online surveys – some are better than others when it comes to the volume of surveys you’ll be eligible for, the payment you get and the minimum payout amounts so do be careful which ones you choose to sign up to and spend your time on.
Read my post about the best online survey companies.
4. TopCashBack
You might be surprised how much you can earn using Top Cash Back – I shared a post recently about how I made £100 in 30 days on there with very little effort so I’ll let you have a read of that rather than go into detail here but just know that it’s very easy to make money on there – especially if you download the TopCashBack toolbar extension which sits quietly in the background until you use a site that you can be earning cashback on and then it pops up to let you know.

5. Start your own website
I started blogging to record our daily life and had no idea how far it was going to go and how much of an opportunity to earn money online from the comfort of my settee it would give me!! I’ve had some amazing opportunities and made some fantastic friends through blogging and as hard as it can be at times, I wouldn’t change a thing. I’m with Lyrical Host who are super helpful with any questions that I have so I don’t feel like you need any technical knowledge, you’ll pick it up as you go along. The main thing is that you enjoy your chosen subject or you’ll get bored super quickly!

These are just a few ideas on how you can start to earn money online – I picked them because they’re the easiest ways I know to earn some extra pennies and they’re all ones that I have personal experience of so I know I’m not giving you ideas that are going to be super high effort with little or no return for your time and energy.
