About three months ago I bought one of those collage photo frames to fill with some of my favourite family photos but I never got around to filling it with photos – mainly because my printer seems to have developed an issue where it prints a line, almost like a smudge, across the middle of my photos for some reason when I’m using photo paper.
The only photo I have in there at the moment is one of me with my Mam and Dad from when I was about four….
I was considering popping to Tesco or Asda and printing some photos out there using one of those instant photo printing machines but I realised how expensive that would work out and how long it would probably take me faffing about, no doubt with a huge queue behind me, trying to get the sizes right for the pictures I’ve picked.
So I came up with a Plan B!
I decided to see if there were any sites where I could get free photo prints online so I could print out as many photos as I needed without having to pay a fortune and faff about and I was surprised by how many there were!
I’ve made a list here of the main ones I found offering free prints but it’s always worth checking any new offers which you can do just by googling ‘free photo prints’ like I did to find these….
Truprint – 20 free prints when you join
Cewe Photoworld – 50 free prints when you join
Pixum – 50 free prints when you join
Photobox – 30 free prints when you join
Snapfish – 20 free prints when you join
Free Prints – 45 per month
Boots – 20 free prints when you join
1 Click Print – Up to 20 free depending on what size you’re after.
I’ve ordered about 40 prints and paid postage and packing on that order of £1.95 which is much easier and cheaper than printing them out in store and actually works out cheaper than printing them at home too by the time you take into account printer and paper costs.
