I thought we'd start the week off with some jokes about money to make you smile today!Don't ask me why as I genuinely can't remember what started this, but last week, I was on the phone with someone and we were both Googling dad jokes and sharing them and I proper laughed at some of them - to the point that when I hung up the phone, I was in a much better mood than when I'd answered it. It did feel good to laugh about something so ridiculously random so I thought I'd put together a round up of jokes for you lovely lot and obviously, with this being a frugal (ish) blog, I … [Read more...]

Every week I share five frugal things that I've done during that week just to show you that the small things you do all add up to a great frugal lifestyle where you can learn to live a fabulously frugal life. Hey! 👐1) At the start of the year, I decided I wanted to set myself a challenge and so far, I don't think I've mentioned it on here at all so I thought I'd share it with you today and then maybe give you an update every couple of months if I stick to it. 😇Basically, I thought I'd do a bit of a challenge where I don't spend any money on clothes … [Read more...]
5 Assumptions about frugal people….
In today's post, I'm going to talk about some common assumptions about frugal people and hopefully set the record straight!I hate the word frugal! Turn Blue Monday into Happy Monday….
Apparently, today is Blue Monday, a day known for being the most miserable Monday of the year! It's called Blue Monday as it's supposedly the most miserable day of the year which has something to do with the fact that Christmas seems like a distant memory whereas payday feels like it's forever away. Add that to the fact that the sky is usually grey and dull outside and I get why it's supposed to be a miserable day even in normal times - never mind at a time when the world itself is as uncertain as it is.But, I genuinely believe that we have the power to control the way our … [Read more...]

Hey! 👐1) Did you see my Pre-Loved bargains post the other day? If you did then you'll have met my new favourite dress...As I was putting it back away in my wardrobe after taking this photo, I noticed some little bleach-like stains at the bottom so it must have got splashed with something when I had it on.
