At the start of last month I shared with you all, how I work out our monthly budget and I was pleased to get lots of emails from you saying how helpful you'd found it and how much it had helped. One thing that did come across in the emails was that some people would prefer to have a form that they can print out and use to fill in their income and monthly costs to make it a bit easier. You could do a search online for 'free downloadable budget planner' but there are so many options available, many of which are affiliated with various debt management companies or other associations. Family Friendly Frugal Meals – Slow cooked brisket….
After the chaos of last week, we have a nice boring week ahead of us thank goodness. We're all feeling a bit bleugh at the minute to be honest. The new generation Furby's are much cuter looking than their … [Read more...]
Teaching Remembrance….
My Grandad died fighting for his country during World War 2. Mr Frugal's Dad was in the army and fought in the Falklands as well as getting shot by terrorists during active service elsewhere. Both children have friends whose parents are serving Afghanistan. We have friends whose children, partners, brothers and cousins are out in Afghanistan fighting for their country. Everyone is affected by war one way or another and regardless of whether we agree with the reasons that we entered into any particular conflict, one thing we should all agree on is that we should be extremely proud of all … [Read more...]
