I was torn this week between a picture I took ages ago and one that I took last week when we were on holiday - so I decided on a two for one special today ;-)This is the one I took last week - I ordered waffles and strawberries for breakfast and naturally, like any blogger would do, I got out my camera to take a photo before eating it. From pressing the button to take the picture to the picture actually being taken, this little hand appeared, helping itself to my breakfast! Here's the other picture I wanted to share, brother and sister holding hands and looking after each other. Get Organised – The New Improved Me….
I need to get myself organised.Everything's been really hectic in the last few months (in a good way) and it's getting harder and harder to keep track of who should be where and when. The house is in a bit of a state as I never seem to have time to do everything that I need to so. My usual organised morning routine has gone out of the window and due to some unexpected expensive car repairs the month before last, we're still playing catch up with our money.I managed to miss the open afternoon at school today as I completely forgot it was today and yesterday, Miss Frugal went to school … [Read more...]
Normal (ish) service is resumed….
We've just got back from a lovely relaxing family holiday in Majorca and I'm sure you're dying to see some of my holiday pictures aren't you? I hope so, because I ended up taking about 500 pictures which is a lot even for me....It wasn't a perfect holiday by any means. I discovered Master Frugal has a new-found hate of sun tan … [Read more...]

What does ‘Frugal’ mean to you…..
Being Frugal means different things to different people. Some people are frugal as a way of life, lots of people are frugal out of necessity and some are frugal to enable them to free up money for other things. We come under the third category, we save money where we can so that we have more spare money to spend on the children and to do fun things with them. I want them to have a happy childhood and whilst I'm fully aware that money certainly doesn't bring happiness, the money that we manage to save means that we can take them on holiday, go camping, buy them treats, have family days … [Read more...]
