Well it's been a while since I've sat down and done a proper meal plan, in fact, I don't think I've done one since before the kids broke up for the Summer holidays and I've been looking forward to getting back into it. As the kids aren't back to school until next week, I'm having a bit of a lazy week with my meal plan. Weird….
Remember Buddy, my Bichon Frise puppy? Well he's nine months old now and he's my little buddy (See what I did there? Buddy is my buddy ;-)). He sleeps on the floor on my side of the bed and in the morning when my alarm goes off, he jumps on the bed for a cuddle. He follows me around while I get ready then he goes back to bed and sleeps on Mr Frugal's side until he wakes up. He snuggles up with me on a night when we're watching TV and even now, he's sat resting his head on my knee, snoring while I tweet. A Day at Lightwater Valley….
Last Sunday, when the sun shined for the first time in a week, we took the kidsand one of Miss Frugal's friends to Lightwater Valley for the day and had a fantastic time. Unlike previous visits to theme parks, Miss Frugal wanted to go on everything which is fantastic because I don't really do rides and Master Frugal certainly doesn't so now she can go on the big rides with her dad while we get to watch them squealing their way round them all. The Friendship Dilemma….
I have a bit of a dilemma. Miss Frugal has a friend who lives on the same street as us but doesn't go to the same school (thankfully), since the start of the school holidays they've been playing together more than usual. The problem is, I really don't like this little girl and I would much prefer that they didn't play together as much. I know that not all children will behave as I expect my two to behave but I can't stand it when children lie or when they bully others and this little girl does both.
