Every week I share five frugal things that I've done during that week just to show you that the small things you do all add up to a great frugal lifestyle where you can learn to live a fabulously frugal life. 1) Before I left for work last Sunday, I sorted out the dirty washing and left strict instructions for Miss Frugal to get it all done and hung out on the line to dry while the weather was nice. It's the first time in ages that I've been able to line dry the washing due to the unchangeable weather and I love that she managed to get it all done and out ready to … [Read more...]
How to claim a refund from a payday loan…
So, I've been meaning to write this post for months and months now but I've never managed to get around to it but today I'm going to tell you how you can claim a refund from a payday loan if you've ever had one in the past.I genuinely hope that none of you has ever had to rely on a payday loan to get you through to the end of the month but if you have then there is an opportunity to potentially claim some compensation if it was mis-sold to you.It was more then likely mis-sold if you couldn't afford it at the time and I don't know about you but my thoughts are that if you needed to … [Read more...]
Five Frugal Things we did this week {3rd April 2020}….
Every week I share five frugal things that I've done during that week just to show you that the small things you do all add up to a great frugal lifestyle where you can learn to live a fabulously frugal life. Every week I share five frugal things that I've done during that week just to show you that the small things you do all add up to a great frugal lifestyle where you can learn to live a fabulously frugal life. 1) Master Frugal is taking GCSE Food Tech and some of the ingredients he is asked to take in are a bit random but so far, we've had a lot of them in the house already so haven't had to spend a fortune like some parents might have had to do. Monday's recipe needed no less than six different herbs and spiced and we had every single one of them in our cupboard - good … [Read more...]
Homemade Wood Polish to make your home shine….
Over the last year or so I've been experimenting more and more with homemade cleaning products. Today, I'm sharing my latest creation - homemade DIY wood polish.I have lovely dark wood bannisters which can look quite grubby quite quickly thanks to the kids often grubby hands so they need a regular wipe down and polish to keep them looking as lovely as I want them to.I really love my homemade cleaning spray but for my bannisters, I wanted something that would leave a little bit of a shine on the wood so I tried adding some olive oil to the mix.I had a disaster with the first … [Read more...]
