I haven't really had time to be frugal or otherwise this week as it's been another chaotic week for one reason or another but I'll try and see if I can think of five things.... Five frugal things I've done this week: 1.  We went to the car boot sale last weekend to try and find some tennis rackets for the kids to play Tennis with over the Summer.  I usually buy some from the pound shop but as they're a bit older this year, I thought spending a bit more would be beneficial so we headed off to the boot sale.  We managed to buy two great Wilson rackets for £1 each which was a great bargain - one of them is a Venus and Serena Williams edition which is £20+ online to buy.  We also bought some badminton rackets from a couple of different stall holders and ended up paying … [Read more...]

Five frugal things I've done this week: 1. I'm still trying to get my garden in better shape ready for the Summer so I was over the moon when I found some plants reduced from £5 to 50p in Tesco last night.  They're currently sat on my little patio ready for me to plant in some pretty pots.2. Five frugal things I've done this week: 1. We finally cancelled Sky TV! A few weeks ago Virgin Media installed the fibre optic broadband in our street finally and we got some quotes which would save us money as well as give us much better broadband but we've been waiting for the man to pop around to sort it.
