Last month I shared my top tips on how to avoid odd socks.Not the most exciting of topics to blog about admittedly but fairly necessary after the mysterious sock fairy visited us again and left yet more odd socks to add to our ever-growing collection!My best tip was definitely to buy multi-packs of identical socks because if you buy a multi-pack of seven pairs of exactly the same sock, each sock has 13 potential buddies not just the one! Nail varnish isn’t just for nails….
Miss Frugal has a bit of a nail varnish obsession and over the last year or so she's built up a great little collection which is filled with every colour imaginable along with all sorts of other nail related stuff. Thrifty Thursday – A good store cupboard can save you money….
I *try* to plan our meals each week but it's not always easy planning a week's worth of meals in advance and as much as I'd like to tell you that I stick to it rigidly every day, I can''t! There are regular last minute changes for lots of very boring reasons - no time to cook what was planned, forgot to put everything in the slow cooker on the morning, a hungry person ate what I was planning to cook when I wasn't looking.
