You probably know by now that I'm a total fan of using my freezer to help with my meal planning - whether it's batch cooking things like tomato sauce or using ice cube trays to freeze small portions of things like wine. Freezing food is a great way to extend the shelf life of items you use but may not use fast enough to make it economical to store fresh. I thought I'd share a few things that you can freeze because there have been a few things that I've discovered over the years that have literally changed the way that I'm able to save money on our family … [Read more...]

Every week I share five frugal things that I've done during that week just to show you that the small things you do all add up to a great frugal lifestyle where you can learn to live a fabulously frugal life. Hey! 👐1) When I did my weekly shop, I managed to buy a big pack of chicken breasts in the reduced section for £3.20 so I bought them and used them to make some Instant Pot Shredded Chicken. I served some of the chicken to serve with Yorkshire Puds, Actifry roasties and broccoli for a mini roast on Sunday, I added some to some Mexican Bean Quesadillas on … [Read more...]

Hey! 👐1) I dyed my hair using some hair dye that cost me £10 for two boxes which is an absolute bargain compared to how much I'd pay if I was getting it done in a salon. I've probably been dying my hair for about a year now for no other reason other than I woke up one day and felt like a change. 😂 This is the hair dye that I use - … [Read more...]
