Every week I share five frugal things that I've done during that week just to show you that the small things you do all add up to a great frugal lifestyle where you can learn to live a fabulously frugal life.I have TOTALLY struggled with this post today for two reasons - the first reason is that I usually write this post on a Thursday night but we spent most of last night at the hospital with a bit of a scare over Master Frugal. He had a fall at school and not long after started being sick and by the time we picked him up, he was looking grey and was pretty groggy and confused. September 2018 Goals….
Oh my goodness, this year is just flying by, isn't it?I feel like this year has been a bit life-changing for me and, although I'm not going to get too deep today, I've spent a lot of time over the last few months reflecting on my life and trying to decide what I want and where I want to be.I've also spent time with Mr Frugal discussing what we want, as individuals, as a couple and as a family and for the first time since we got married, we actually have a life plan. You're a bit skint but don't want to be the only one going so you go along even though you could really use the money elsewhere.Your friend's hen night … [Read more...]
Chilli, Mango and Lime Salsa….
This Chilli, Mango and Lime Salsa is amazing and is a super fresh alternative to traditional tomato-based salsa.Miss Frugal is a huge mango and avocado fan so they're always top of my list when I go shopping. She's not been feeling that great over the last couple of days so when I went to make tea last night, I realised that there was a mango and an avocado left in there that were about to reach that stage where they're past their best.I was making cajun chicken for tea so I thought I'd make some sort of salsa with them as I had a couple of tired looking spring onions in too and I … [Read more...]
