We've all got a really busy week this week so our meal plan is going to have be a bit flexible.Monday - I made a curry yesterday using leftover turkey and sweet potato from our pretend thanksgiving meal to reheat for tea tonight. Curries are always better the next day I think so I'm really looking forward to it with a bit of rice and some naan bread.Tuesday - Play date night with some friends from Bethan's class, we take it in turns to have tea round each other's houses so I'm off the hook for tea tonight.Wednesday - I think we'll have toad in the hole with roasties and veg as I … [Read more...]
How I made a 2900% profit in 5 hours….
See this little fella, his name is Dustbin Beaver and he's a Moshi Monster figure - he's not just any Moshi Monster figure though, he's an ultra rare one.He comes in one of those packs that cost £1.99 for two figures - you don't know which one's you're getting until you open the pack. I came across him at a car boot sale this afternoon for the grand old price of 30p and being the Moshi expert that I am, I snapped him up along with a couple of others I knew would sell well on eBay.It took me two minutes to put him on eBay (using the eBay app on my phone) with a start price of 99p and a … [Read more...]
Do you always have some month left over at the end of the money….
I love that saying - do you always have some month left over at the end of the money? How much do you spend on your children at Christmas….
It's November tomorrow so I feel justified in asking you all just how much you spend on your children for Christmas. After all, the big day is only 54 days away. How much do you hate me for reminding you of that right now?I've been gradually doing my Christmas shopping for months now and I've managed to get a LOT for what I've actually spent. I've bought things in the Tesco 2 for 1 sale (ends today I think) and got some great bargains in the Sainsbury's half price toy sale last week.I've also bought some things off eBay and from the car boot sale. Top of Master Frugal's list was … [Read more...]
