Cotton Wool Snowman….
I have been promising the kids for ages that we will make cotton wool snowmen and I finally ran out of excuses today so we now have three cotton wool snowmen sat on our living room window...They're simple but messy to make. We used a toilet roll for each snowman and using PVA glue we covered them with cotton wool. We cut out a circle of card and covered that in cotton wool as well and attached it to the toilet roll by cutting two slits in the toilet roll and sliding the head into the slits. The kids then cut out their hats, faces and buttons anf finally we stuck them in a cotton wool covered … [Read more...]

All you do is mix half a cup of salt and a whole cup of flour and then slowly add one whole cup of water to the mix. You (or the kids) need to then knead the mix for 10 minutes - don't miss this stage out as … [Read more...]
Making Decorations….
I popped to B&Q; earlier on today and they are have reduced a lot of their Christmassy things, to be honest I was a but dissappointed with the range as I don't think they are stocking nearly as much as last Christmas but I was pleasantly surprised at the sale they had on. I didn't really go to look at the Christmas stuff, I went for some wallpaper inspiration but while I was there it would have been rude not to have a look wouldn't it?I found some plain white felt christmas tree ornaments reduced to 24p so I bought four thinking that the kids would have a bit of fun colouring them in.However, … [Read more...]
