Today I am going to share how the 50/20/30 budget method works and tell you how it can change your financial future forever.I've recently been trying a new budgeting method which a few people I know recommended to me - it's called 50/20/30 and I find that it’s an amazingly easy way to learn how to save and be financially savvy. It's not for everyone and I get that, there are lots of us who don't have the luxury of allocating funds to our financial goals and to unnecessary spending but for those who can, I definitely think it's worth a go to see if it suits your budgeting style more … [Read more...]
Five Frugal Things I’ve done this week {6 April 2018}….
Every week I share five frugal things that I've done during that week just to show you that the small things you do all add up to a great frugal lifestyle where you can learn to live a fabulously frugal life.1) Mr Frugal and the kids have season tickets for our local football club and every year they have an early bird deal on where you get it cheaper if you renew by the end of March which as you may know is waaaaay before this season even ends, never mind the next one starting. It's such a saving that it's as if we were getting one of the kids' tickets free so we've made sure that we … [Read more...]
Would you pay to pre-book a sun lounger on holiday?
I save all year round for the holidays that we have throughout the year so I want them to be perfect when we get there! It was the first time I'd come across this difference in price and over the two games, it was just short of £20 difference. I'd been umming and aahing for a little while about signing up simply because of the free one-day … [Read more...]

Every week I share five frugal things that I've done during that week just to show you that the small things you do all add up to a great frugal lifestyle where you can learn to live a fabulously frugal life.1) This week I've started my Spring Clean and my house is smelling amazing! I've used my homemade cleaning spray for all surfaces around the house and Zoflora on my floors.Considering Zoflora is super cheap and my homemade cleaning spray costs about 10p for a big bottle to make, I'm so pleased with the results.I've also cleared out cupboards that have needed cleaning … [Read more...]
Bloggers: How to upgrade your Camera Equipment without paying a fortune….
My love of photography started not long after I began blogging and even though I still haven't found the time to actually get good at taking photos, the equipment that I've been lucky enough to use over the years has given me a cheeky head start. Today I'm going to tell you about a discovery I made that's going to help you upgrade your camera equipment without paying a fortune! This is the point where I should tell you that this is not a sponsored post or even a review commissioned by the company I'm going to tell you about - they were genuinely recommended by a friend and I was over … [Read more...]
