One morning last week we were due to meet friends of ours at the local park for a catch up and I stupidly left the kids in bed as late as possible so they could catch up on some much needed sleep.I ended up getting them up half an hour before we were due to leave and had a little smug smile to myself when they were up dressed, washed and sat on the settee munching on a chocolate croissant with a glass of milk with five minutes to spare.Unfortunately, the smugness was wiped off my face when I sent Master Frugal to put his socks on!He could find lots of socks - that wasn't the … [Read more...]

How to get free XBox games….
This week's #SaveMoneyMonday is all about free games for your Xbox so it's bound to go down well with the little people if they have an Xbox. The free games are available to all Xbox Live gold members which the majority of people who have an Xbox already seem to be - I know my children are, as are all of their friends so I'm guessing that most people who have an Xbox will be Gold members already and be able to take advantage of this deal without any further action. If you're not a Gold member already, it is a service you pay for but it's well worth it as you get lots more content as well … [Read more...]
Siblings – September….

It's not so great for this month's sibling post though I'm afraid as I've got no exciting or particularly interesting photos of them together although I do have some ice cream photos to make up for it! ;-)So we … [Read more...]

As you'd probably expect, most people I've spoken to have said that it's because they don't like the way they look in a photograph and that a … [Read more...]
My Autumn Bucket list….
I read a lovely post yesterday written by Michelle over at Mummy From the Heart and it got me thinking a little bit.One of the reasons I like the end of the school holidays is because it allows me to get some routine back into our lives and to take the time to do some of the things that I've been planning to do for ages but haven't got around to over the last few months as we've been too busy enjoying the Summer.Michelle's written herself an Autumn Bucket list to help her focus on what she wants to achieve in the next few months and I thought hers was so lovely that I wanted to do the … [Read more...]
