School Dinner Cake {AKA Sprinkle Cake}….
Today's school dinner cake (which you might have called Sprinkle Cake at your school) is guaranteed to take you back to your school days - especially if you pour over some lumpy custard when you serve it up. 😂I used to love School Dinners when I was at school and I'm 99% certain that we just used to call this pink cake but I can't find anyone else who called it that so I'm going with the two more common names that I found for it when I was searching for it - school dinner cake and sprinkle cake. Reflecting on school days also reminded me of how assignment help services can make … [Read more...]
Homemade Halloween Puzzles for your little ones…
It's been a long time since my two were little enough to want to do puzzles and jigsaws with me but when I saw these Halloween puzzles I knew they'd be perfect for some of you who have little ones.I've got three super cute Halloween puzzles for you today that I think will be suitable for around ages 3-5 if my memory of little children's hands and minds serves me rightly. The best way to make these puzzles is to print them out onto normal paper and then using a glue stick, stick the printout onto some card (a cereal box is ideal) and then cut out the pieces where the lines … [Read more...]

It's spread out over a very small local village taking over some fields, barns, a beautiful church, … [Read more...]
Social Media MADE me buy it….
Does anyone else buy random things after seeing them advertised on Social Media?I realised a little while ago that I'm like an advertisers dream right now as I've bought things recently that I may not have even known existed if it hadn't been for Facebook and its advertising algorithms that somehow know what I want before I even know myself. Then Instagram joined the party and started targeting me with some pretty accurate ad targeting so I changed the name of this series to Social Media made me buy it.(To be clear: none of these items are sponsored or gifted, they're all … [Read more...]
A week of Hello Fresh meals….
Did you catch last week's five frugal things post? I mentioned that I'd treated myself to a Hello Fresh meal prep box after seeing an offer where the first box was 50% off and the next three were 35% off. I'm so easily influenced but I thought I'd track the meals we got in our box and share them with you.To be clear, I bought my Hello Fresh box myself. 😇I've used Hello Fresh before during lockdown (again, I bought the boxes myself and wasn't working with them) and shared what I thought of them in general (Hello Fresh, overhyped and overpriced?) so I won't go into all the … [Read more...]
