This last week has been amazing - one of the most fun weeks we've had in a long time.We started last Thursday night with a last minute trip to the Circus thanks to a much reduced opening night price.  There's no way we would have gone usually as it would have cost £40 on a normal night even with the half price vouchers they were giving out in town!  None of us have ever been to a circus before and it was completely different to what we were expecting.  The juggler dropped his balls  (oops)almost as much as he caught them, the tightrope walker looked completely terrified and the Miss Frugal … [Read more...]

It's OK, I don't really expect anyone to come right out and admit that they would make a fake insurance claim but I just wanted to put the question out there.My reason for asking is that, as you might know, two weeks ago I was hit by a truck when I was driving home from work.  I walked away with no injuries thankfully although my car is looking like it's a write off due to the amount of damage done and obviously I'm going to claim on my car insurance policy for that.  I'm also going to try and claim my train costs as we were going away that weekend so we had to get the train as the car was … [Read more...]
