Remember When….
Dear ChildrenDo not read until you are all growed up ;-)Remember when you were little and I took you swimming? Well I think you're old enough now to know my secret I really hate swimming more than anything in the world. But I took you anyway because you loved to swim and get wet.Remember when you were little and I sometime picked up spiders? I want to tell you something about that too. The one where I share too much information….
I have a *friend* who has been poorly for the last month with a chest infection. I don't know if I'll ever stop wanting to pick up the phone to tell her some small thing that's happened during the day or if I'll ever stop talking to her like she's still here with me but I do know that one of the reasons I miss her so much is because she was my inspiration. … [Read more...]
Teaching Children to Recycle….
We all know how important it is to teach our children how to recycle but if yours are anything like mine, they like to learn in a fun way that they can understand - which is why I love the new Coca Cola Recyclometer tool. We've been using it for the last few weeks now and it's been excellent for showing the children (and me) just how big an impact the small action of recycling something can have which in turn has made them much more enthusastic about recycling. We have a recycling bin in the kitchen that we put our recycling in and when that gets full we move the rubbish outside where we … [Read more...]
