Here's a random fact for you - the world record for eating the most Ferrero Rocher in one minute is 7! They muct be having a laugh, I'm sure it must be more than that - I could eat 7 of those little balls of chocolate heaven in less than 30 seconds.I would be happy to attempt to break this world record if I could persuade my husband to go to the shop for me but so far he's having none of it ;-)Just for the record, I'm also pretty sure I could polish of a 12 inch pizza in less than 1 minute 45 seconds to beat the world record for that one although I'm not sure if I can beat the … [Read more...]
Facebook….
I've just received a friend request on Facebook from my dad - how weird is that? He's 70 but since my mum died he has discovered a new lease of life, he joined the gym, bought a laptop and an Ipod and now this! I'm not sure how I feel about having him be able to see all my updates and the messages I get from my friends....As my family (other than Mr Frugal) and friends don't know about my blog yet I have two separate Facebook accounts, one personal and one blog page so it's my personal account that he has added. Happy Easter….
We've had a brilliant day today, which is a relief because at midnight last night I was downstairs with Master Frugal throwing up everywhere. I think he must have just eaten too much chocolate but last night I thought he might have had that stomach bug that's going around so I was really relieved when he got up this morning right as rain.As the weather looked OK, we decided to go to Ormesby Hall for the Cadbury's Easter Egg Hunt this afternoon. Did I mention, I hate Mess….
I have to admit my least favourite activity with the kids is painting, however, this just happens to be their favourite thing to do so yesterday I gave in and we painted. I bought three tubs of paint - red, yellow and blue and gave them a little tray (tupperware lid) to mix any other colours up. Master Frugal was very impressed when he managed to make green all by himself ;-)All was going well until we decided to try some handpainting, this is the bit that I hate!We made some lovely pictures and at least I have got the obligatory school holidays painting session … [Read more...]
A Slightly Optimistic World Record Attempt….
It's a Mummy's Life has started The Little Film Club - Each week she will share a prompt to inspire our video and we can all share our efforts on a Friday. I am definitely up for this as I don't think I am ready for a full on real vlog but I do like making videos of the kids.
