The Clampets have left the building….
How typical is this, after a weekend of rain and hailstones the sun finally decides to pay us a visit on the day that Mr Frugal goes back to work! The weather was so bad that I didn't get chance to do my back garden over the weekend as planned so I thought I would have a go this afternoon while the sun is shining.I've already tidied the bins up and sorted the recycling boxes out, they are now hiding around the side of the house which I am sure Mr Frugal will have a whinge about as its about 10 foot further to walk to put the rubbish in the bin. Anyone got any spare Ferrero Rocher….
Here's a random fact for you - the world record for eating the most Ferrero Rocher in one minute is 7! They muct be having a laugh, I'm sure it must be more than that - I could eat 7 of those little balls of chocolate heaven in less than 30 seconds.I would be happy to attempt to break this world record if I could persuade my husband to go to the shop for me but so far he's having none of it ;-)Just for the record, I'm also pretty sure I could polish of a 12 inch pizza in less than 1 minute 45 seconds to beat the world record for that one although I'm not sure if I can beat the … [Read more...]
Facebook….
I've just received a friend request on Facebook from my dad - how weird is that? He's 70 but since my mum died he has discovered a new lease of life, he joined the gym, bought a laptop and an Ipod and now this! I'm not sure how I feel about having him be able to see all my updates and the messages I get from my friends....As my family (other than Mr Frugal) and friends don't know about my blog yet I have two separate Facebook accounts, one personal and one blog page so it's my personal account that he has added. Happy Easter….
We've had a brilliant day today, which is a relief because at midnight last night I was downstairs with Master Frugal throwing up everywhere. I think he must have just eaten too much chocolate but last night I thought he might have had that stomach bug that's going around so I was really relieved when he got up this morning right as rain.As the weather looked OK, we decided to go to Ormesby Hall for the Cadbury's Easter Egg Hunt this afternoon.
