Actually I'm not completely on my own but it is just me and the kids tonight as Mr Frugal has very cleverly agreed to do a night shift at work tonight. Seriously, why would anyone work the night shift if they didn't have to.He says its because I am off tomorrow and he thought that we could spend the day together! My Way
Did anyone used to watch Newsround when they were younger? I always used to because it was on just before something I used to watch (Byker Grove maybe) and I used to love the way that they always featured stories that were relevant and interesting to the younger audience. I am never going to be a Domestic Goddess….
I am never, ever going to be a Domestic Goddess - No matter how hard I try, I always end up doing something wrong.I have just tried to make cinnamon buns from here and I managed to mess up a really simple recipe. It was all going so well and they are in the oven now but I have a feeling that they are not going to taste nice as I forgot to activate the dried yeast. Actually I didn't forget, I just didn't have a clue that you have to mix dried yeast with water to activate it. Make a Wish Book….
I hope the snow doesn't last much longer - I am running out of things to keep the kids entertained....I made a 'Wish Book' with Miss Frugal today (Master Frugal was quite happy on the Wii). We cut out about 12 circles out of coloured card and Miss Frugal wrote a different wish on each of them - all things that she wants to do or places that she wants to go to.She spent ages thinking about each wish and carefully wrote each one down.
