Today, it's card on the table time as I want to tell you why I've been struggling a little bit with blogging about our 'frugal lifestyle'. Warning: It's a bit of a waffley post!Basically, our financial situation is in a much better place than it was 10 (ish) years ago when I started blogging all about our journey to a more frugal lifestyle and as a result, our priorities have changed a little bit. Real Fruit Juice Gummy Bears…
Real Fruit Juice Gummy Bears are my new favourite thing! Read on to find out why and how to make your own...First up, the reason why I'm a fan of these real fruit juice gummy bears is that Master Frugal has been unwell lately and one of the things that his doctor has said is that he has super low iron levels. ‘Iconic’ Clock Makeover….
If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen me asking for some advice on what to do with the bookshelf that I have at the end of my upstairs hallway. Basically, this little bookcase was a gift from Mr Frugal who saw it advertised as being sold by someone local after they'd upcycled it using my favourite Orla Kiely wallpaper. I love it and it fits perfectly at the end of my upstairs landing so makes the most of some unused space.I feel like it's ready for a bit of a makeover though and I'm tempted to have a go at painting over the green but leaving … [Read more...]
