I don't think it's much of a secret that I've struggled a little bit these last few months.Admittedly, I've had a fair bit to cope with but it's fair to say that I probably haven't handled things as well as I could have done and trying to carry on like I did when my Dad died without stopping to grieve just got me to a place where I was exhausted, snappy with everyone I love and behind with just about everything in my life.Things are much better now so I thought I'd give you a little bit of an update...I kept so busy after my Dad died that my house was spotless, I had a good … [Read more...]
That was…. June!
At the end of the year last year I decided that it would be a nice idea to do a bit of a round-up of what we'd been up to at the end of every month. I managed the first few months with no problem but I missed April and May after losing my Dad and another much-loved family member. We spent that time coming together as a family and trying to get over our losses and if I'm honest, we (especially me) were a little bit broken and at times, just getting through the days felt like a huge achievement. We had to make a conscious effort to spend time together because at first, it was too easy to … [Read more...]

Today I'm going to share with you 10 books with the power to change your life!If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen my post from the airport on the day I was travelling to San Fransisco. Homemade Bath Jelly….

Sooooo, I thought we could investigate making some homemade bath jelly and the results were fab!Homemade Bath Jelly is my new favourite thing - the possibilities are endless as you make it using your own favourite body wash.
