We've got into a bit of a habit lately of going for a walk on a Sunday afternoon after our tea.We try to go somewhere different each week and usually head wherever we're going in the car rather than just walk him close to home like we do that every other night. Tonight, we had a lovely walk around the Riverside Football Stadium and along the banks of the River Tees.We had a lovely walk around the stadium and as always, the kids took the football and had a good kick about in the area around the stadium which is always deserted when we visit on a Sunday evening! No Bake Unicorn Fudge….
This super easy to make no bake unicorn fudge is a real showstopper!I woke up early this morning feeling refreshed after a good night's sleep so I got up and while everyone else was still asleep, I cleaned the kitchen, put some washing on, had a cup of tea and made a batch of unicorn fudge. You know, the usual Sunday morning activities. ;-)This recipe for Unicorn Fudge is great to make with the kids and would be brilliant as a homemade present or as a cute addition to a party buffet as it tastes great but looks even better. Interesting things my children have said to me in the last week….
The kids have come out with some corkers this last week and at times they've had me in stitches with some of the things they've said! I thought I'd share some of the tamer ones with you to see if I could make you smile too.... If you check my internet search history today then don't worry if you see an odd one. Dear Tesco….
To the very lovely people at our local branch of Tesco,I want to thank you for the kindness and compassion that you have showed my Dad over the last six months or so because you really have made a huge difference in his life and I want you to know about it.At the age of 77, my Dad's found himself alone (apart from me) in a world filled with technology that he really just can't get his head around. He's grumpy, stubborn, and thinks he always knows best but he's my Dad and I love him more than I could tell you. He's also getting to the age where things confuse him very easily so when … [Read more...]
