Homemade Jelly….
Have you ever tried making your own jelly? I'd never even thought about it really because jelly isn't exactly expensive and there's so many flavours to choose from so it seemed like a bit of a waste of time and energy making it. My favourite way to spend a Sunday afternoon – Movies and homemade popcorn….
I love Sunday afternoons lazing on the settee with a bowl of homemade popcorn watching a film with the kids - even more so now that they're a little bit older and want to watch films that I actually have a chance of enjoying with them!Homemade popcorn tastes much nicer than the shop bought bags of it and you don't need anything special to make it with other than a pan with a lid. Cooking with kids: Easy Rainbow Layer Cake….

Thrifty Thursday – Leftover pies and alternative pie toppings….
Who doesn't love a good pie?I've always been put off making pies because (a) I worry about a soggy bottom and (b) I always thought pastry was difficult to master. Girls Only Night – Quick and Easy Non Alocoholic Mojito mocktail recipe….
It's no secret that my favourite cocktail is a Mojito and Miss Frugal is following in my footsteps as her favourite drink is a Mockito which is the non alcoholic version of a Mojito so when we decided to banish the boys and have a Girls only night, we knew what we'd be drinking!To make our version of a Mockito, we just chop us some fresh mint and put it into the bottom of a tall glass.
