How to Make Gummy Bear Ice Lollies….
Miss Frugal has been taking more of an interest in blogging lately but rather than post on her own blog, she likes to share her ideas on here. She researches what she wants to make, makes me a little shopping list and then makes whatever it is, obviously being the child of a blogger she also knows to photograph every step of the way. ;-)So far she's made Shamrock Shakes and homemade Mint Lemonade and today she's turning her attention to ice lollies, specifically gummy bear ice lollies! She's made a little video to show you how to make these very delicious tasting lollies so I'll let her … [Read more...]
How to make an Awesome Sock Puppet (and save some money)….
Last week was half term here and I learned that (a) you're apparently never too old to play with play doh or to make a sock puppet and (b) it's always a good time for ice cream, even when it's freezing cold and blowing a gale.I'm going to concentrate on the 'never too old to make a sock puppet' today because I really do hate play doh and you obviously already know that ice cream makes any day better. ;-)I was challenged by Cavendish Online to see just how much money I could save by using their site to get a life insurance quote rather than a more well known site like Compare the … [Read more...]

{Free Printable} Find out what your children really want to do in the school holidays…..
I always find it surprising when I asked the kids what they enjoy doing and what they would like to do together mainly because it often turns out that they really don't want to do some of the things I thought they would enjoy doing!I'll plan a lovely day out with a picnic when they would rather just play in the back garden with their water guns or I might plan a movie afternoon when they'd much prefer to be outside at the park.To get round this, I always get them both involved when we're making plans for a day out (or even a day at home). When they were younger we used to make a wish … [Read more...]
