Have you ever wondered what you can do with conkers, apart from actually playing conkers?I'm guessing your answer is probably no that one. Me neither, until we went to the park last week and came home with about a million of them!We had lots of fun kicking up leaves and collecting conkers - so much fun that I didn't realise just how many we had until we got home and emptied our pockets. We had so many of them that I instantly thought there must be something we could do with them all. While I decided what to do with them, I popped them in a bowl on the sideboard where most of … [Read more...]
How to have an Awesome Pamper Party….
IngredientsA few giggly girls A million different colours of nail varnish (and LOTS of nail varnish remover and cotton wool) Some face masks (the ones that dry and peel off like PVA glue make the most mess but are the most fun if you're interested) A newly purchased foot spa (bargain from the car boot sale) Popcorn and a girly movie Some music (apparently One Direction are 'so last year') Some ear plugsMethodSpend at least ten minutes choosing music that everyone likes. How to get free XBox games….
This week's #SaveMoneyMonday is all about free games for your Xbox so it's bound to go down well with the little people if they have an Xbox. The free games are available to all Xbox Live gold members which the majority of people who have an Xbox already seem to be - I know my children are, as are all of their friends so I'm guessing that most people who have an Xbox will be Gold members already and be able to take advantage of this deal without any further action. If you're not a Gold member already, it is a service you pay for but it's well worth it as you get lots more content as well … [Read more...]

It wasn't just them though, a similar thing happened to me as well and looking back, I think I felt as … [Read more...]

Well, another week's flown by hasn't it! There's not long left until they're back at school so we're busy packing as much fun as possible in.
