Dragons Den – The Frugal Family Edition….

Miss Frugal loves to watch Dragons Den with me and always has her own opinions on whether the dragons should or shouldn’t invest in a business.  She’s usually pretty sure that she has an idea that the Dragons would love to invest in so I decided to see what she could come up with and while we were at it, Master Frugal and I had a go aswell. 

Invention One

I love this one.  The black square is our kitchen window and it’s connected to a box on top of the Guinea Pig hutch with a little chute that we use to pour food into the box – this will only need to be done about once every four weeks according to Miss Frugal.  The food box on top of the hutch has a smaller chute that connects to the Guinea Pig’s food bowl so when he’s hungry, he hits the red button on the hutch and voila, a portion of food is despatched to his food bowl. 

Invention Two

In case you’re wondering, it’s a Money Flower and apparently when she’s figured out how to make it, the leaves will be £5.00 notes and will grow back every time you pick one. 

Invention Three

Never one to be left out, Master Frugal had a go at being an inventor aswell and invented a lollipop that’s not only in the shape of himself, it also has a toy car, a balloon and a Kinder egg in the centre of it ‘so you get a treat when you’re sad cos you’ve finished your lolly’ – can’t fault his thinking….

Invention Four

This is my contribution – a five minute pause button for the kids.  Just long enough to speak to someone on the phone in peace, or enjoy a wee without little people following me or even just to enjoy a bar of chocolate all to myself!

I’m not sure if any of our ideas would get an investment in the Den but we had fun trying   What do you think, would you invest in us or do you have an idea for something that is crying out to be invented?
