Chocolate brownies are one of those foods that, if made well, can make you look like a Domestic Goddess. A perfect chocolate brownie will melt in your mouth and make you want to come back for another one and because I’m so nice, I thought I’d share with you my perfect chocolate brownie recipe.

Easy chocolate brownie recipe!
This super easy chocolate brownie recipe has never let me down! Every time I make it, it turns out soft squidgy and fudgy - everything you want from a chocolate brownie recipe!
Ingredients
- 225g butter
- 100g cocoa powder
- 4 large eggs
- 450g sugar
- 1 capful vanilla extract
- 150g self-raising flour
- A sprinkling of chilli powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180 c.
- Grease the baking tray you're going to use - a rectangular tray is best for brownies but I've used circular cake tins before.
- Melt the butter in a pan (or the microwave if you like to cut corners - like me) and then stir in the cocoa powder.
- Set aside while you make the rest of the recipe. TOP TIP - Do not dip your fingers in the bowl at this point, it is not as yummy as it looks yet!
- Whisk the eggs, sugar and vanilla together until they are pale and foamy (or until your arm starts to hurt).
- Stir in the cocoa mixture, chilli powder and the flour and give it a good mix together until it's all combined.
- Pour into your baking tin and bake for 35 - 40 minutes or until the top is firm and the inside is still squidgy.
