We have a Family Christmas Traditions Poster of our own and we love it – it makes us smile every year when we unpack it from the Christmas decorations box and everyone who visits us over Christmas comments on it and tells us how lovely it is and how they’d like their own version.
Every single time I’ve heard someone say that they’d like a Family Traditions poster over the years I’ve had a little niggly thought at the back of my head that there must be a way that I could do something technical (or at least ask someone more technical than me to do something technical) to offer you a way to make your own version but I’ve always buried the thought because it seemed like a big thing to do and I was quite happy plodding along in my bubble.
So with a little bit of encouragement from some friends, I found someone who was way more technical than me and asked them to do the something technical they needed to do and voila, here’s my version of a Family Christmas Traditions poster maker.
You need to type your family traditions in the box below – one tradition per line and if I were you, I’d try and keep most of them to four or five words with a couple of longer ones and maybe a shorter one or 2. Just click Add Line to add another line to the poster. Then I’d preview it and decide if you want to mix them up in a different order to make it look better. You can preview as many times as you like just remember that the Christmas elves working away in the background to bring you your poster might take a few seconds to make it look as good as they can so be patient. 😉
To make your Family Christmas Traditions poster even more personal I’d always make the top line either ‘Our Family Christmas Traditions’ or ‘Your-Surname’s Family Christmas Traditions poster’.
I know there are other sites where you can design your own posters and order them to be sent to you by post, framed or unframed and there are even other sites out there who offer similar to this where the finished product is emailed to you to be printed off at home so I hope you’ll agree that to be able to make your own for FREE (they’re selling on Not on The High Street and Etsy for £39 framed!!!) is pretty awesome.
