Have you heard the saying that you don’t get anything for free in life? Well, that’s not always strictly true and I’m going to share with you five fantastic free trials which WILL give you something for free!
These days there are so many companies competing for our business that many will offer you a free trial so you can see what you think of their product or service. Obviously the hope from the company is that you’ll love whatever it is so much that you’ll continue paying for it after the free trial ends which is no problem at all if that’s what you want to do.
Obviously, you can choose to cancel the free trial before you need to start paying but it’s really important that you remember to do that as most free trials will automatically charge you at the end of the free trial period. I always add a reminder into my phone calendar for the day before I need to cancel a free trial to avoid being charged.
(Just so you know, some of these free trials are affiliate links! I’m just putting it out there so you know as you get to take advantage of the free trials and I might get a few pennies at the same time.)
Get your credit score and much more
Both of the UK’s major credit reference agencies offer a free trial which will allow you to check your credit score and make sure everything in your credit history is looking as it should. It’s definitely a great idea to sign up as it helps you see how potential lenders may view you (although don’t forget, all lenders have their own criteria) and also what sort of things impact your score and how you can improve it! Get your FREE Credit Score with Experian here.
(FYI A free trial is available to UK residents aged 18 years or over and subject to identity checks)
Amazon Prime
I’m pretty sure I don’t need to tell you about the benefits of Amazon Prime but just in case you need me to, here’s what you get:
- Get unlimited, FREE One-Day Delivery on millions of items
- Watch over 15,000 movies and TV episodes with unlimited instant streaming
- Borrow from thousands of titles from the Kindle Owners’ Lending Library
- Secure, unlimited photo storage with anywhere access
- Listen to over 2 million songs on Prime Music
Netflix
If you don’t have Netflix then their 30 day free trial is DEFINITELY something you need to look into. I don’t watch much TV but when I do, it’s on Netflix!
Adobe
With everything from Lightroom and Photoshop and all of their other brilliant, but expensive programmes, a 7 day free trial will give you the chance to try them out without shelling out for them beforehand.
Graze snack box
A Graze box is a snacking box which you can choose to be sent to you at various different intervals. When you order, you’ll be asked to share your likes and dislikes so the snacks you receive in your box are definitely going to be ones you’ll enjoy. Your first and fifth boxes are free but you can cancel after your free box if you want to.
Taste Card
A 60 day trial of the taste card could save you a fair amount over the Summer if you’re planning to eat out more than once or twice. The only snag here though is that it does cost a pound so I’m not classing it as free – almost though.
Am I missing any other free trials?
