If I’m honest, the jury’s still out here about whether I think colouring pages are actually relaxing or whether they make me more stressed as I worry about what colour to use where and whether I’m staying within the lines or not. I know lots of you love a good colouring session though so I decided to combine my love of happy motivational phrases with your love of colouring and make some uplifting colouring pages.
My favourite thing about colouring is that I know that if I put a colouring page on the table with some coloured pens then at least one of the kids will turn up eventually and start colouring. I also find that if I sit down and colour with them then they’ll be that busy thinking about colouring that they won’t think about what they’re saying and they’ll just ramble on and on about their day rather than just giving me the highlights like they usually do. It’s lovely and the main reason that I do keep trying colouring. 😉
It took me ages to choose the phrases I wanted to use for these colouring pages but I went for these as they’re currently printed off in one form or another and hanging on Miss Frugal’s bedroom quote wall….
I was planning a photo wall for the back wall of my kitchen now that I’ve got rid of the shelves in there but I’m actually considering a bit of a quote wall. I’m not sure it would be a bit too much though – what do you think?

Filing in the fine details of these kinds of pages and then stepping back to admire the entire when I'm done is calming and enjoyable. Extremely gratifying! Usually, I only have time to do them when the kids are on break from school.

I do find these kind of pages relaxing and I enjoy filing in the fine details then taking a step back to view the whole when it is done. Very satisfying! I tend to do them when the kids are on school holidays as the routine doesn't allow much time usually!

I find colouring therapeutic anyway (probably because I can't draw) but love the idea of colouring pages with uplifting messages!
