If you have a daughter around the same age as Miss Frugal then you may be familiar with the bracelet obsession that she’s currently going through (and has been for the last year or so actually).
Like most girls, she loves any kind of jewellery but in particular she has a bit of a thing for bracelets – she buys them cheap at boot sales, she gets given them by my friends, her friends always bring her one back from their holidays and she’s got lots that she’s made herself. She has numerous friendship bands, bangles, sparkly ones, beaded ones, charm bracelets, One Direction bands… You name it, it’s probably in her collection.
The problem when you have so many bracelets is how to store them so they don’t get tangled up and so you can see what you’ve got at a glance!
We found our solution when we were having a bit of a clear out of my sideboard unit a couple of days ago.
Tucked at the back was an empty half bottle of Moet and Chandon that Mr Frugal bought me for Valentines Day one year which we’d kept as a memento but it’s been gathering dust there ever since we put it in.
We dusted it off and slotted her favourite bracelets over the top and there you go, a cool bracelet holder….
Now I just need another little bottle of Moet so we can make another one for the rest of her bracelets!
