For the last few months I’ve been keeping an eye out for things to help me keep the kids occupied during the Summer holidays and I’ve managed to build up a nice little collection of things that I’m hoping will keep them quiet…. For a while anyway 😉
A Go-Kart for £2.50
Rollerblades for Miss Frugal for £1.50. I also bought a training pair for Master Frugal for £1.00
A big basket of Bratz dolls clothes for £1.00 – It’s a bigger basket than it looks in the photo and has about 100 items in it. I asked the price and when the lady said it was just a pound, I hesitated as I thought she’d given me the wrong price and she offered to throw in the pretty basket aswell!
A real stethascope which came as part of a pretend vets set including dress up things, an animal carrier, a poorly doggy and lots of other vets equipment for just £1.00. Included in error I think as it’s a proper doctors one!
The seller practically forced this one on us – A Crazy Frog microphone and game for just 25p. I tried to say no but Master Frugal had 30p in his hand and was as determined to buy it as the lady was to sell it. To be honest I think the woman would have paid us to take it off her hands if we’d asked her too 😉 I have a sneaking suspicion that the batteries are not going to last very long at all.
And finally, a few books to keep me going – £2.00 for the pile.
