I can’t believe that the kids break up from school in a couple of weeks! That means that parents up and down the country have started to think about how they’re going to entertain the kids for the long Summer break which also means that now is a great time for me to share this idea for you to make a personalised Summer Holiday Bucket List for your family.
The Summer Holidays are a bit different for us these days. Miss Frugal left school last month and has plans to (hopefully) get a job over Summer so she can earn some money before starting college in September and both she and Master Frugal are too old to want to be doing too much with us.
I miss the days when we used to sit together around this time every year and plan all of the things we all wanted to do together over the Summer and I’m a bit gutted that I’ve only thought of this idea now that mine are too old to make a Summer Bucket list.
I was trying to think of a few year-round uses for my free personalised poster maker when it occurred to me that it would be an amazing way to make a personalised Summer Holiday Bucket List for your family. How cute is this one which is obviously based on wishful thinking for my family rather than the actual reality of a bucket list for a family with two teenagers…
If I was to make one based on what our Summer activity is likely to be, it would look like this…
What would your family’s summer holiday bucket list look like?
Why don’t you sit down with the kids and make a list of around 15-20 things you’d like to do together and then add them into the poster maker. You can generate a poster like mine above and pop it on the side of the fridge. 😉
