This super easy, 3 ingredient mini egg fudge is really just my way to justify buying the family size bag of mini eggs at the shop last night!
My favourite fudge recipe ever is the quick and simple Kinder Fudge that I shared last year because not only does it taste AMAZING, it also takes about three minutes to make and literally works every single time.
So last night, when a big family-sized bag of mini eggs jumped into my shopping trolley, I let them come home with me and decided to transform them into some mini egg fudge using my favourite Kinder Fudge recipe as a base. I used a bar of Dairy Milk for this as we had one still left from Christmas but I usually I’ll use cheaper own-brand chocolate for fudge.
Mini egg fudge the perfect homemade Easter gift for neighbours, teachers and grandparents but equally, it’s so quick and easy to make that you can just make it as a treat for yourselves anytime. And actually, I’m calling it a homemade Easter gift but in reality, Mini Eggs start appearing in shops now pretty much on Boxing Day and are there through to Summer and beyond so let’s just call it a year-round homemade gift.
Basically, mini egg fudge is not just for Easter!

Mini Egg Fudge - with just 3 ingredients....
This amazing three-ingredient Mini Egg Fudge really is super easy to make and tastes like heaven!
Ingredients
- A 397g can of condensed milk
- 400g chocolate (I actually used a giant 360g bar of Dairy Milk that I had in the drawer but usually I use Morrisons own brand chocolate which is about 30p a bar)
- Mini Eggs (I used a family sized bag which is 296g and put 3/4 in the fudge and sprinked the rest over the top)
Instructions
- In a large saucepan over a low heat, melt together the chocolate and the condensed milk together.
- Give your bag of mini eggs a bit of a batter with a rolling pin to crush them up a little bit and add about 3/4 of the bag into your fudge mix.
- Pour into a 20cm x 30cm baking tin and spread it evenly so the top is smooth. I like to use silicone baking trays for this as they make it so easy to get the fudge out when it's done.
- Top with the rest of the mini eggs and press them lightly into the top of the fudge.
- Pop it into the fridge for at least an hour to set but preferably overnight.
- Slice it up into small bite-sized chunks and you're good to go. A pizza cutter is perfect for this!
