You are about to learn more than you ever needed (or wanted) to know about me thanks to the lovely Kate who tagged me in the 10 questions meme.
All you have to do is answer the 10 questions below, tag some people and then come back to the original post and comment so I know you have completed your mission.
Are you sitting comfortably?
Describe yourself in seven words.
Happy, hard-working, content, intelligent, smiley, tired and ill.
What keeps you awake at night?
At the minute my cough, more recently worrying about Miss Frugal’s health and before that not very much other than dreaming about how I’d spend a big lottery win. That’s my way to put myself to sleep when I’m laid awake – I plan in great detail what I would spend my money if I won the lottery.
Who would you like to be?
I don’t think I’d want to be someone else in all honesty but I would like to me a richer, skinnier version of myself. If you’re forcing me to choose, I wouldn’t say no to being Mrs Buble or even Mrs O Leary 😉
What are you wearing now?
Black trousers and black top – nothing exciting I’m afraid, it’s my usual uniform as I hate jeans and leggings and rarely wear skirts.
What scares you?
Straight stairs and my kitchen cupboards falling off the walls – yes, really. I also hate rollercoasters, spiders, blood, driving fast, pain and the thought of eating a packet of smarties without sorting them into coloured piles first.
What is the best and worst thing about blogging?
I love blogging because of the record we have of the children growing up and because of the opportunities that we’ve had through our blog. I’ve discovered that I love to write and as a naturally shy person, I’ve found it a great way to meet new people as by the time I meet them, I feel like I half know them already thanks to the magic of Twitter.
I hate the bloggy/Twitter spats that erupt every now and again, I sometimes think it’s worse than a school playground and my children can be act in a more mature manner, I usually disappear for a while when things kick off and come back when it’s all over and forgotton about.
What was the last website you looked at?
Etsy, I’m looking for something a bit different to buy myself as a Christmas present off my dad but I have no clue what. Don’t ask!
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I would try not to worry about things so much, I’m a natural worrier so I can often blow things out of proportion in my own head.
Slankets, yes or no?
Easy, definitely yes. In fact, I may just have to but the kids one each for Christmas now you’ve reminded me about them….
Tell us something about the person who tagged you.
Kate’s blog always makes me want jelly beans and she wore the most fantastic dress to the MADs awards – two facts for the price of one!
I’m going to tag Mum Reinvented, Pippa, Jen , Becky, Emma and Jo and anyone else who wants to join in…. Go on, you know you want to.
