I love the idea of the Mummy Mugshot linky over at life, love and living with boys.
I have literally thousands of pictures stored on my computer and on various memory sticks around the house and I would say that until recently, there were probably less than 20 (if that) that have me in the same picture as the kids. I’ve started to take more photos with me in them lately though – I want to be a part of the memories that we make every day and not just the person behind the camera all the time.
When I look at a picture of me, I see someone who needs to lose weight, get a haircut and wear makeup more often but when the kids look at the same photo, they only see their Mam joining in and having fun with them. So I need to stop worrying about how I look and get myself around the other side of the camera.
This is a photo I’ve posted on here before but it’s me when I was younger:
And a matching curly haired Miss Frugal:
Here’s another one of me, dancing with my mam:
I have lots more of me when I was little but I just ventured out to the garage to get them and there is at least 900 boxes in the way so you’ll have to settle for these two!
Here’s a few of me since I decided that I needed to get around the other side of the camera:
I’ll definitely be joining with this again, maybe it’s just what I need to remind me to make sure I’m in more photos!

That's crazy, you almost look identical. I love the idea behind this linky. I should really join in as there are hardly any photos of Amy and me or just me as I am usually the one behind the camera. x

Ha ha poor little thing 😉
That's exactly what I'm like but I'm really trying at the minute, I want to be in as many photos as possible so they remember me being there when they look back – I know they will anyway but it just makes it more special. I think I know what I mean anyway lol

Wow, you two look so alike! Love the photo of you all with the golden post box, it will be especially lovely to look back on in years to come.
Thanks for linking up this week, I'm looking forward to seeing more in weeks to come x
