Honestly, I feel like I’ve had the craziest few months with everything that’s been going on here! Between the Summer Holidays, work and all my Dad drama I genuinely haven’t had chance to breathe since the middle of June which is when my Dad took a turn for the worse.
With him being settled in his new home and the kids back at school, I’m hoping that a little bit of normality is going to return to our lives. As welcome as that would be though, it does mean that I now have a to-do list longer than the Great Wall of China to get through.
Today’s post has been at the top of my to-do list for a few weeks as I’ve been wanting to tell you about a lovely delivery I got from JD Williams filled with some lovely clothes that I’ve been wearing for the past month or so.
I’ve been waiting to get some photos of me in the clothes but I kept putting off the actual ‘photoshoot’ where I’d planned to have Mr Frugal take some photos of me wearing the clothes. I’ve come to the conclusion that although I love the clothes, I’m more comfortable sharing the photos of them with you without me in them.

The cardigan has been my go-to jacket all Summer not only because it’s pretty and not too warm but also because it’s long length covers all my lumps and bumps and makes me feel more confident. I love the crochet style of it and it’s washed really well.
The leggings are really comfy too and aren’t skin tight which makes them very comfortable to wear and again, quite a flattering style. They look great teamed with the cardigan for through the day and I’ve even worn them on a night out with some heels and a nice top.
There’s not much I can say about the shoes other than tell you how pretty they are! They’re really comfy to walk in and both pairs are just so pretty in their own way and I’re really enjoyed the compliments I got when I wore both pairs. There’s some great shoes on the site at the moment and I’m tempted to get some black heels for my holidays next month.
