After sucessfully managing to persuade Mr Frugal to venture up into our loft to get all our Christmassy things, we’ve just spent a lovely afternoon decorating the house….
Here’s our tree and some of our favourite decorations.
All the special cards the kids have made over the years for us.
These are the wind up toys we’ve got in our Christmas crackers the last few years – we’ve started a new tradition where every year after Christmas dinner we have a family wind up toy race. I’m on the look out for some different ones for this year so if anyone sees them, let me know. In the background you can just make out some of the Salt dough decorations we made last year.
Our favourite Christmas snow globes. We try to buy a new one every year to add to our collection (of 3 so far).
Our Handy tree has lived to see another year, which is good bearing in mind how long it took to cut out the 27 million hands it took to make it!
We’ve still got more to put up and more ideas for things to make but these’s are the main things so far.
I also keep meaning to show you the brilliant Christmas card we got from Ferrero Rocher:
I love the idea of the giant Ferrero Rocher Christmas tree like the one in the picture, if I could just have one like that for Christmas I’d be in chocolate heaven 😉 I know that Ferrero Rocher actually built a giant tree out of Ferrero Rocher’s in Covent garden a few weeks ago and I’m gutted that I never saw it or at least help dismantle it lol ;-(
