My mission for about the last six months has been to find the perfect picture frame for a mini-project that I’ve had in mind but I’ve really struggled to find exactly what I wanted – until a couple of weeks ago at the Festival of Thrift in Darlington.
I found exactly what I was looking for and for the bargain price of £10 which I was quite pleased with after my long search….
I love it and it’s perfect for what I have in mind but before I show you my plans for it, I wanted to show you a couple of other things you could do with it!
1. Make a posh padded notice board.

2. Make a posh menu planner – like mine but posher. 😉
3. Make a Jewellery Hanger like some of these beauties.

4. Make a chalk board.

5. Use it to share your favourite photos.
I take a LOT of photos and only recently started to print off more of them. I’ve got them on display in various places around the house but for the living room, I wanted something a bit nicer looking. Because my frame is just a frame, with no backing or anything, I was planning to cut a piece of card the size of the frame and use blu tack to stick the pictures to it. I was then going to stick this to the wall, again using blu tac and hang the frame itself with a picture hook so it covered the photos. The idea was that the photos can be changed about whenever I wanted to so I could always have my favourite photos up on the wall. Except now, I can’t decide whether to do this, or make a posh meal planning board for the kitchen.
What do you think?
