One of our favourite games to play as a family is completely free, can be played anywhere and needs nothing else to play other than your imagination.
We call it the cloud game and although it can be played anywhere I find that it’s best played in the car when the kids are super bored as it always makes us laugh and keeps us occupied for a while.
All you have to do is look at the sky and tell everyone else what you can see so they can look for it too – everyone’s imagination is different so where Miss Frugal might see a dolphin, Master Frugal might see a dinosaur. There’s no rules and no point scoring, just fun looking up and imagining.
We play it in the car, laid on the trampoline in the back garden, on the beach – everywhere!
I know it’s probably a game you’ve played yourself as you were growing up and you’ve more than likely already played it with your own children at some point but I mentioned it the other day at work (actually I pointed out a cloud that looked like a unicorn) and everyone looked at me like I was mad! I explained the cloud game and they’d never played it so I thought I’d share it on her just in case.
Go look out of your window right now and tell me what you can see 😉
