Last Friday, the day of the long awaited JLS concert finally arrived.
I think I was more excited than she was, obviously because I couldn’t wait to see her face when she saw her favourite group on stage, nothing to do with the little schoolgirl crush that I may possibly have on Marvin (who is very lovely)!
After spending a very un-frugal amount at the merchandise stand, Miss Frugal apparently couldn’t wait a second longer to go and find our seats so we ended up being practically the first people sat down….
We ‘bumped’ into the support act, NVS, on one of our many trips to the toilet (I’m sure we spent more time in there than we did in our seats).
Every time they were performing on the centre stage, there were barriers preventing fans from getting too close but the lovely security guard who was near the end of our row moved the barrier to let Miss Frugal right to the stage edge along with about 20 others. I don’t think she could believe how close she got as the fans who stood either side of her couldn’t stop screaming but she just stood and stared. She’s convinced that Aston smiled at her 😉
