#MealPlanningMonday {14th October 2019}…
I haven't done a #mealplanningMonday post over here for ages so I thought we'd kick off the week with what we'll be eating this week.I've been sharing my weekly meal plans over on Meal Planning Made Easy recently but I thought I'd share this week's over here for a change - mainly because I'm having a big focus on it this month to try and save some extra pennies. I used to plan super cheap meals to cut our food bill to as little as possible but over the last few years, as our budget has started to look a bit healthier, I've increased the amount we set aside for food … [Read more...]
Time Saving Blogging Tools You NEED To Use – CoSchedule Review…
Last week, I shared a post all about how I manage to maintain a healthy work, life, blog balance and while I was writing it, I realised that I used a lot of different tools to help me work efficiently so I thought I'd share a few of them in a little time-saving blogging tools series. We all have different financial situations and we're all frugal for different reasons. ;-)1) Guess what? I've got some super cheap flowers to share with you!I got two … [Read more...]
‘Iconic’ Clock Makeover….
If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen me asking for some advice on what to do with the bookshelf that I have at the end of my upstairs hallway. Basically, this little bookcase was a gift from Mr Frugal who saw it advertised as being sold by someone local after they'd upcycled it using my favourite Orla Kiely wallpaper. I love it and it fits perfectly at the end of my upstairs landing so makes the most of some unused space.I feel like it's ready for a bit of a makeover though and I'm tempted to have a go at painting over the green but leaving … [Read more...]
12 Spooky Ghost Crafts to do with or without the kids….
Today's post is a round-up of some of the most fun (and unusual) Halloween crafts that I've seen on my travels around the internet over the last week or so...Now that my children are 17 and 14, they're way too cool to do crafting with me and even though we've never been particularly crafty, it does make me sad at this time of year.Halloween and Christmas were the main times of the year when we actually did dust off our craft box and make a bit of an effort and this year, I've decided that just because they're apparently too old to craft with me, doesn't mean I won't be doing any … [Read more...]
