**This post does contain a review of some very lovely clothes that I received from Simply Be as part of a review I was asked to do. Opinions are all my own as always.**A couple of weeks ago, I was looking for something to wear to meet one of my friends for lunch and I realised that although I had a wardrobe filled with clothes, they weren't necessarily clothes that I felt good in. Here's why... Some are too small Some of the things in there were too small as I'd bought them in the sales over the years with the optimistic thought that I'd slim down into them but as I'm … [Read more...]
Helping your kids to create a memory scrapbook….
I started this blog to record our family memories and I'm a huge fan of sharing our favourite family moments on Instagram so it's probably not really a surprise that both of my children have a memory scrapbook that I started for them when they were babies. They love looking back at their scrapbooks and as soon as they were old enough, they took over adding in their own memories and now Miss Frugal even has her own travel scrapbook too.Scrapbooking is such a fun and creative way to help us remember the past! Five Frugal Things we did this week {22 March 2019}….
Every week I share five frugal things that I've done during that week just to show you that the small things you do all add up to a great frugal lifestyle where you can learn to live a fabulously frugal life. Before I start though, as always feel that I should say that being frugal to me is about getting the best value for our money - it's not about doing without for us or about not having nice things. The toys you played with as a kid could well be worth a fair bit of money today. You don’t know what you have until you look, and there are all sorts of treasures around your home that you may not realise could be sold for profit. And, if … [Read more...]
Review: Furbo Dog Camera….
Disclaimer: We were sent the Furbo Dog Camera for review purposes. This is an honest review featuring one dog who absolutely loves it and another who's more scared of it than he is of the soupmaker which is saying something. ;-)In case you don't already know, we have two dogs - Buddy, our nine-year-old Bichon Frise and Monty who's our one-year-old Bichon/Shih Tzu cross. Buddy's our old faithful dog who just plods along without causing any drama whereas Monty is our little hurricane who never sits still and is into absolutely everything. Usually, they … [Read more...]
